Time for a top coat.
GX112 SuperClearIII UV Cut applied.
After some polishing work the body looks as it should. As I’m working mostly at night – I took opportunity to took a picture within direct sunlight, the colors really popped up!
In meantime I applied internal decals and tire markings.
And put chrome silver bare metal foil on the firewall.
Beside great V8 engine there are 4 other things that are superimportant on a racecar – WHEELS!
Unfortunately, original rims from the kit is some kind of joke… Shame on you SalvinosJr! Spokes are somehow bent and lacking of details in general… A place for aftermarket addons.
I bought 3d printed BBS type Nascar Next Generation set from ScaleCarsOnline https://scalecars.online/. What a product!!! Details are out of this world, each rim even has a BBS logo on it… – crazy cool!
