Glosssy! – clear varnish applied
Parts were disassembled (again) and prepared for clear cote application. MrHobby GX100 applied – damn I love this one! Colors and smooth surface looks even better after clear gloss!

With great pleasure I would like to share some pictures of my biggest Gunpla project ever – NZ-666 Kshatriya / UC Recast’s full resin build.
After few water-decals sessions I finished ”by the book” markings. With those tiny symbols Sazabi started to look like a real thing! Anyhow I wasnt fully satisfied… I NEED MORE!!! :), started with fuel containers detailing… unfortunately one of gold fragile decals was damaged… I removed it with moistered tootpick, very gently to not damage…
I chose “realgrade” version for decals with some additonal custom golden logos etc. Started with shield by the book. DL Model decals are marked same as original RealGrade – so instruction is very helpful. Decals are easy to apply and they’re reacting well to MicroSol that I’m using. Other thing is gold emblems from Infinity…
I was playing with metal parts to complete powertube for Saz’s belt – I really didn’t liked that, all beads were just hanging on metal spring from the set… Original belt, wasn’t just rounded, so I decided to recreate it.A wire from metal paper clip was used, then I pushed spring onto it then beads…
JaoParts kit fits well, thrusters are replaced and other small details from the set. Late night parts construction 🙂 Hands with metal actuator rods – looks real.
I’m starting to fall in this color – cool shades of red looks great on metal like frame! Love it! Front skirt – sexy! 🙂 Painted backpack fuel tanks.
For black parts of model I used Tamiya LP Black Metallic – no primer – just applied on plastic. Sazabi’s frame parts I painted again with three shades from AK XtremeMetal palette: Chrome, Stainless Steel and Steel. Looks good! Backpack details: The frame really looks metal – Xtreme Metal 🙂 – 360 video below:
Candy factory started! Clear Red from MrGunze H line applied, thinned with Gunze Levelling thinner. Looks sweet already!!! Two shades of red went fine – difference is very subtle but does the job well. To be honest I was expecting a bit different effect – the colors of my Sazabi looks very cold – more…
