The time has come to put engine in place.
I added fuel line and oil tank with right connection. Based on pictures of the real cars, I added heat insulation.
Looks cool!
Then, I started to work on the detail – chair was completed. I used 4 point seatbelts set from Scale Production. The tires got Hoosiers decals.
To add a bit more real look I decided to replace stock brake discs and callipers. Just delivered 3d printed sets for Nascar from ScaleCarsOnline – WOW – what a details!!!
Those are not exactly the brakes used in Wheelen Modified series, but I will use it anyhow – it looks so cool!!! Of course it will require a bit of modification to fit into kit hubs.
Exhaust pipes requires some adjustment and improvement…. now it is ok. Some weathering and wear will be added at later stage.
All those details looks on bench like real workshop… so I arranged a bit of scene for a picture 🙂
