Let the painting begin!!!
I went this time with AK Xtreme Metal. The goal is candy finish.
There are many approaches for sweet glossy models, many named as candy, but in my eyes not all are valid ”candy finish” but just metallic – lets give it a try – now its my turn!
Started by the book:
First – AK XM Black Base
Black Base applied with ultra smooth, black and glossy surface (maybe because parts were polished…?)
Then, two metal colors went on.
Chrome and Stainless Steel from AK Xtreme Metal.
Two shades of metal went exactly as planned! – Sweet!!!
A word about hardware used.
Some time ago I bought single action airbrush (link to inbox below).
In one word – wow – the easiest way to paint, use and clean ever! There is no need for famous and widely use double action airbrushes to get fairly painted solid one color surface. I like ”right tool for right task” approach – this tool is just perfect.
I highly recommend, specially for Gunpla models and people who would like to start with scale models airbrushing – this is easies way imho.
