Falcon construction continues to another iconic parts of the space-ship – front mandibles!
The inner frame build went straight forward – I didn’t took any picture of it – trust me – it was straight forward 🙂
Maintenance bays were fitted into dedicated slots – there are some extra details placed here and there in round buckets of maintenance bays.
Then I was stucked a bit with bottom surface details – those pipes looks perfect!
Then another sprues with parts was planned to add extra greeblies on the sides of the right mandible.
First tracktor beam generator details was added – looks accurate!
Then mandible’s outer side details were added – a mean a lot of details!
At this stage its easy to recognize that this is “32 incher” replica.
Right mandible is done (almost – there are no details on the top side…) including headlight LED.
Generally the construction feels super solid and quite heavy – I’m worrying a bit about total weight of the model.
