After countless hours of thinking “how to” improve the kit. I decided to replace original part for front net of a racecar.
I used moskito mesh repair kit from Aliexpress… After paint it looked the best compared to other options I had.

I found that the model front axles looks quite empty compared with pictures of real cars. Of course – wheel tethers – Nascar safety “cords” that connects parts of the car that could be easily disassembled – like suspension, etc.
It was quite challenging to create those in 1/25… In my wife home supplies, I found “yellowish” thread that after some white glue threatment started to look like the real thing. Black ties are made of black theat and hubs connectors are 0,2mm wires connected to plastic joints drilled through.

Sweet!

Now we’re talkin’!!!!

and with hood attached – (in meantime I added photo-etched hood pins)

There was only one internal thing missing – fuel cell tubes! Of course I replaced kit part with custom scratch builded 🙂 The clear one is part of the kit transparent sprue that I bent over candle, the other one is electric wire insulation of diameter that fits.

We’re closer and closer to the grand finale 🙂
