I was F1 fan for many years…. after last season I was completely bored with ‘F1 train’ and one/two same drivers on winning positions.
As a racecar lover, I looked for other races that I could watch and enjoy and I found NASCAR as really dynamic race sport, completely different than F1. After watching 2023 season shorts and final race I already was hooked into – and would like to extend my passion into model-building.
Immediately I looked for model kits of Nascar racecars and I found that there are not so many of those on the market.
When it comes to actual generation of racecars, there is only one (!) company that produces Next Gen Nascar and it is (BTW Revell/Monogram/Hasegawa/Tamiya – HELLLOOOO??!?!) Salvinos Jr Models https://salvinosjrmodels.com . Unfortunately those are not available in Europe, so I ordered it directly from SalvinosJr.

I picked 2023 Champion Ryan’s Blaney Mustang #12 from Team Penske.
Quick look inside the box:

Body is molded in the main car color and 4 sprues of parts precolored as well, additionaly clear parts for windows and spoilers and rubber tires.
Sweet!!! …or semi sweet from the first glance… It is not Bandai quality.

Additionally in the box you can find nice set of decals of decent quality – even other color is presented as decal – it looks like there are modellers that are building Salvinos kits out of the box without painting – my model will be paitned.

Instruction manual reminds me some old Revell manuals from 80s-90s… but generally looks ok.
… so, Drivers Start Your Engines!!!
