Preparations started.
It wan’t so easy to dismount Sazabi RG without breaking any parts – I finished deconstruction successfully with a little help of instruction manual – the model was build in 2021 something like a year ago, so I forgot how it was…

I read on other forums that smooth surface preparation is a key for making good candy painting.
First time in my modeler’s career I tried to polish bare plastic – I used Farecla G3 Professional Scratch Remover – polishing compound known in automotive detailing world.

After a short polishing – its glossy!

Ok, I picked some parts – to get polishing results comparison and proceed with G3.

Then, all parts was washed in warm water with some dishwasher.

After parts dried, I moved to next stage – photoetching parts.
Im using SH Studio set – in one word – its great!

Basically details were added in ”technical” parts – maybe those will not be visible at first glance, but it will add extra flavor when you’ll look close 🙂

to be continued…
