Allright! Let’s start big project – one of the most charismatic mobile suits – Neo Zeon NZ-666 Kshatriya from Gundam Unicorn anime.
As in previous post – the model is Universal Century, 1/100 Full Resin kit.
All parts require special treatment, cleaning from post production pieces of resin etc.
I started to clean pieces one by one and sorting those in a box.

I dont like the look of main thrusters… lines are almost missing and sometimes those are not aligned properly.
It needs to be corrected – I used small saw to cut all lines in each of 12 thrusters – now those looks better!
Below – left hand side – corrected, right one – out of the box.

Initial fit of leg parts looks ok.
THIS THING WILL BE HUGE!!!

I must say I’m positively impressed with the fit – there are no gaps – the legs looks fantastic – love the details!

I glued, clean and re-scribed tail parts – now it is how it should!

Test fit with crouch inner section and again – it interlocks together very well!

Here come troubles…. Binders test fit shows major issue of this kit (noticed so far). Parts are completely not aligned, just to put things together it requires extra pressure – I was really scared to not brake the parts…
I’m starting to think how to solve this issue – based on research – I think I will use hot water to straighten the parts and align them – we’ll see.

Arms joints fit quite well – it will require some glueing, but basically it looks ok.

The body is builded with main resin part hollow inside with attached details of the hood, front cannons and back parts – the fit is not perfect, I would say it doesn’t fit at all – it will require some extra work to make it look nice. I’m starting to visualize whole thing.

At the end of the day I put main parts together to see the size of the monster – WOOW – its close to size of PG model!
