Nascar cars details like headlights or grilles are made of sticker in the real thing… Salvinos decals covers thats pretty good, except real-real mesh that is incorporated in the front bumper of next generation racecars. I need to improve that!
First, I did pencil drawing on paper tape – based on decal from the box. After alignment I put it on the front bumper.
Then I used electic 1mm drill and did initial cuts.
Then some manual work with files come to play.
There was one more thing to do, thin-down bumper sides and fit photoetched mesh in place.
