Short update, some 2h session, 3 bags with parts added to the model.
Docking bays completed.
Construction was focused on side walls of the Millennium Falcon. Besides walls, there are a lot small greeblies on each part of side-walls.
I did small improvement but I found it necessary for the whole project 🙂 I magnetized all side-walls parts by attaching small strong magnets on the interior of the walls in crucial places and same-same magnet on the other side of the frame.
Now I can put everything together for painting purposes and then unscrew it again for some internal/electronics maintenance etc.
Works like a charm!
I didnt glued docking bays, just test-fitted – it looks perfect and its aligned properly with small amount of frame adjustment.
… and with top saucer in place – sweet!!!!
Damn, its The Millennium Falcon!
Its my biggest scale model so far – on the floor it looks damn impressive!
My dog approved it 😉
