“Drivers – start your engines!”
Lately I got opportunity to watch amateur class racing at BullRing LasVegas. Between many classes there was so called Asphalt Modified. It was awsome, like a go-karts with V8 buileded in!
Then I found 1/25 scale model of Modified class from SalvinosJR – decission was simple – I’m on it.
As a bit pause from big project I decided to move on with small race car. I will not focus on InBox as there are plenty of those on the internet.
Poor kit quality, bended parts and not exact fitment wasn’t surprise for me as it is my second SalvinosJR build.
So step by step I started the build from the engine.
V8 it is. Head covers, ets will be attached later on additionaly, I’m planning further details, like wiring and etc.
Then the frame.
Main parts were bent – I need to straighten those up before assembly. All mounting points were pre-drilled and test fit is a must have before any step.
Generally it went up pretty nice.
Then some additional parts were added as at dry-fit and to my surprise after some fitting and adjustments – everything fits in place just fine!
