Hands upgrade

In my eyes, weakest part of PsychoZaku MG kit are hands – palms in fact… Decided to replace them with Bandai MS Hands02 (Zeon) 1/100. Now it looks waaay better – below photo shows kit hands (left side) vs upgraded. New palms are just great! Zaku with new palms got a lot more expression! A…

Backpack decals and detailing

Decals went very well – based on manual, MicroSol and Bandai decals provides great combo for easy going application. I’m fan of details here and there – sometimes its hard to spot those on finished models – I like it this way – details should be discovered and provides some type of story to the…

Backpack painted

OOB assembly went fine, personally I hate multiplication of same parts and constructing them – for sure I can’t work on production line… In two evenings I was able to assembly all parts for armaments of any kind – bazookas, machine guns and other panzerfaust-like devices and HUGE rocket booster connected to nice backpack with…

Decals!

As always I’m using only warm water and Microscale SOL for proper setting of decal on model surface. Its so good to…

Initial assemble

24h curing time is enough for assembling parts together. A bit of superglue and all metal parts are in place – now we’re talking – damn, it looks good! It seems like PsychoZaku is quite aggressive… RGM looks really small when compared…

Lets paint!

Vallejo Mecha again 🙂 Red with a bit of Black – just to brake the color. I love subtle shading – not hard lines, based on previous preshade, I’m very satisfied how it looks. … and all parts are painted – I can’t wait to put those together – but its worth to give paint…
