I love cockpit details!
After main parts assembly, I added some washes, scratches and painted rest of the details. Instrument lenses were filled with MicroSol Clear glue, that added depth and realism to gauges.

Pilot seat and safety belts were added, side consoles were painted accordingly. I used internet available pictures as references.

Unfortunately, after fuselage halves assembly it will be hard to see what is inside…
Anyhow, I’m satisfied – it looks good.

Fuse fit was close to perfect, not much filling required. I’m building motorized version of Tamiya kit – it is not available anymore – small electric motor is build in inside.

Then I started to work on the front part and engine… I stopped at the cowl flaps, as it looks a bit empty and were lacking details of the opening mechanism.
After some studies of the reference photos, I build something from plastic rods and spare plastic lefties.

Now it looks ok.
